Well yes, it's true but you still left out the tranny and the labor. Oh yeah, you forgot about $1K worth of tires too ..... Also, you still don't haver an MR but a modded GSR... Nothing wrong with that mind you, I loved my GSR before busted solutions finished with it ... I don't dislike or put down the RS or the GSR, both are great cars....

Now that sounds pretty silly. For me, I need no excuse or rationalization. Face it, $35K is a measly sum for such a great car. I have not problems whatsoever with the purchase of the MR. If you think about it for just a little bit, you can see that many cars cost lots more than the MR and give you nothing like the performance of it. You can pay a lot more than that for a mid level luxury car or a few other sports cars. Sure, If you cannot afford the extra $$, the RS or the GSR are fine alternatives. However, if you plan on spending cash later, to make an MR out of a GSR, you'd be miles ahead with the MR to begin with.. Oh yeah, if going faster is the key factor, best spend some $$ and time at a driving school

FYI: All 2005 Evo's RS, GSR, MR have the same engine, turbo, HP, Torque. Just because you have an "MR" does not mean it is any more powerful. I guess I should say that I have a "MR" turbo then huh?

Buying a mr at Msrp is reasonable but paying 3-5k dealer's markup is just plain dumb. The highest I've seen is a guy who paid $43K OTD for a MR here in Norcal. $43K for a Mitsubishi?!?!

Why do people hate such a sexy car

MR make me horny Baby

The MR dynoed with more WHP than 300 HP STI in Motortrend plus it out handled the STI on a road course what else do want car to do. Stop the B%cthin.

To many Haters on EVOM.

Peace,
Snoop

They all have around 15 WHP more than the 2003 due to ECU tuning and 10.5 Turbo.

Exactly, and BMW just says BMW. I like the MR but I think its just too $$ when RS is there or the GSR.

The MR has nothing in power over the rest of the 05's though... this is a moot issue.

yeah, but if you test drive both of them you feel the difference especially 3rd to 5th gear MR pulls harder somehow...
