Damn, seriously, was there this kind of argument when the RS came out?

Why is there this argument now? This is silly. The whole argument that you could just save the money on the MR and put it into mods and somehow come out ahead is just stupid. That's like saying that your modified Supra is faster than my 911, and for the same price. Well no donkey nuts it is! It's not an issue of how fast the money can get you to go is it? I mean, if you want the best speed to penny ratio, I don't think either the MR or the GSR is the way to go. The fact is that the Evolution is a very balanced sports car. I like getting in my car and feeling like I'm in a cartoon. I like the stupid nipples on the roof, and the wheels that take seven hours to clean, and the six speed transmission that I have to shift every seventeen feet, and my $4.95 MR badge on the back, and the fact that at max 999 other people have my car. And I don't care if you like my car, I do. If I cared if other people liked my car I'd get an Aston Martin or some other preppy poppycock like that.
Obviously it was worth it to buy the car for me. It's silly to ask if it was worth it. Obviously for the people who have them it was at some point. I just like special models. The whole retail industry makes a killing off of people like me. There are others like me though, obviously.
So if you wouldn't have bought an MR, fine. If did, great. If you're going to be insistant that it isn't worth it (which is plum retarded because to Mitsu's target audience (the 1000 who bought them) it obviously was, and at a premium to some) WHY DO YOU INSIST ON POSTING THREADS ABOUT IT?!?!?!

anywho I wished I never started this thread.. I just wanted to show off numbers for peeps that had been asking, now I start a huge fight with people who are supposed to be on the same team
I wasnt even trying to say the MR is better.. I have no reason to... anyways cheers, err or im sorry ?
