I've only had my MR for about a month now and it seems like every time I get in it I end up about wanting to jerk someone out of their car and beating them senseless!! I was driving home for Thanksgiving and some idiot swerved and tried to hit me. Granted I was doing 100mph not letting him by because he has on my *** for 5 miles for no reason, but come on. I had my wife in the car. I know part of that is my fault but I'm sick of every one of Jerry's Kids driving a Geo Storm with a 4 inch tailpipe blowing by me doing 90 or riding my *** for no reason. Does everyone have this problem or is it just me? Nobody even acknowleged me when I was in my Trans Am, now everyone's got beef with me and my MR.

 

I never get anyone trying to race, they're usually too busy drooling about wow - is that an Evo?

 

lol, there are ALOT of stupid drivers out there (myself included sometimes,LOL) It seems like wheneever you get something new people unconsiously try to ruin it (people only seem to step on my sneakers when they aren new LOL) Just be safe out there man!

 

I have the same situation even on my '03 Evo, Civics, integras, etc. they always try to race me, on stoplights they rev their engine. But my advise to you, don't mind them, be a defensive driver, and they are only waste of your gas.

 

i feel your pains man...i am the only one in the city with an Evo...i get all kinds of hate...

 

maybe he just wanted to see your car closer, but if you're doing 100 mph that should be tough enjoy your ride

why play along?...just drive as you normally would and dont put yourself at risk

 

I drive normal when its those "Jerry's Kids driving a Geo Storm with a 4 inch tailpipe". and yes i get them alot. I just move to the side and then they always take off, and i think they expect me to catch them. yeah catch them. LOL but i just keep my cool and say " Its not worth it, i dont want a ticket"

 

I think a lot of people with Evo's and MR's get those problems. It sucks.

 

i always get this crap. it really used to bother me, but now I just role down my window and laugh at them. for instance, i was getting gas on saturday on my way to new haven in CT and in rolls a mazda 3 that is loud, rims, carbon hood, and the KID stops at the pump and redlines his engine. as i am driving away i just roll down my window and smile.

it really isnt worth the money (for gas) and or the risk. sometimes if the car is worth giving a little accerleration demonstration to, i will

other than that, do worry.

Haha, I can't wait to get those problems, I don't get a lotta looks in my civic, even with the aftermarket parts on it. My dad's friend drives a mint condition '69 Shelby Mustang GT350 (white with Blue racing stripes) and he says that old guys run him off the road cuz they are staring at his car so long.

 

Drive slow and no one will race you.......I seen a Gray MR on my street racing a BMW motor cycle Humm I wonder who it was
