sparco seats... how do you?

uhm... i've searched and there's so little info about racing seats. so let's say i want to get some sparco evos... and let's say i want to install them myself. what do i need to buy?

the seat
the brackets
the sliders?
the adapter base?

i sort of understand you either get the sliders or the brackets, cuz it seems the brackets you'd have to unbolt the entire seat to move it up 5mm which doesn't sound like anything close to fun. so idealy i'll get the seat, some allow (?) sliders and an adapter base yeah?

where do you find all this stuff? i'm like... no one store has it all :\.

the reason i'm askin' such a gratuitous question is because i want this process well sorted before i embark, if i'm going to sell my seats this "transaction" will have to proceed rather smoothly.

Just the seats and the brackets...Most brackets have built in sliders... The unit is just one part...So just the seat and the bracket.

is there an adapter base required to mount in evo? i'm extremely interested, black is exactly what i was lookin' for. basically i just want to be able to put them in my car... and adjust them fornt and back without taking out any bolts :].

and no... i don't like the stockers, they're nice for fatties, but i only weigh 147 adn i'm only 5'7" plus... they're fatties themselves... a hulking 30+ pounds each, i can shed 30 pounds total from the mid of the car just by changin' 'em to a real racing bucket.

these are evo's. the evo two's are plus-sized. i bought them in sept to put them in my regal, but we are going to restore with original interior now. i know these will go front to back ok. i can pm you with details tomorrow. i will charge less than list, which i did pay. you can also change some of the padding colors pretty easily.

did you have to make a custom base bracket? is an adapter bracket or base required?

they are really awsome seats. sitting in one feels nice and secure. they are true race seats, you are really bolstered in. btw i was told that a bracket would have to be fabricated to put them in the regal

you will need a seat mount, one of the vendors here has them, or get them from sparco....
what it is is the frame that bolts to the floor of the car. You can not get it off the original seat, you MIGHT be able to get it off a late model lancer(I do not know).
I had to buy one from a race shop that they had made themselves, oh man did they make me pay.

btw any skinny guys looking for a race seat, I have a CF seat for sale. It is fixed, no recline, so you have to really give up some flexibility. PM me, not expensive at all
