The time has come to order Evolutions. It will happen on Monday, it has finally appeared on the dealer link. I can't confirm or deny any of the specs that have been posted because it is all strictly confidential (and I rather like my job) but the embargo will be lifted on January 3rd. You may want to give your dealer a call and remind him or her what your paticular color preference is, I posted those already. You all seem to have a pretty good idea of what the options (or lack thereof) are. Good luck.

Where are you getting this infomation? Probably not accurate but I was told in January to early Feburary from my dealer.

 

Some mitsubishi dealers already have the alocations for them. I know I am getting a yellow one......Thats what I told him, and he ordered it for me...he showed me the alocation so I know it is true..being a former mitsu salesman i Know what the alocations look like and he showed me!!!! WAHOO!!!! 8 year term here i come!!!!!LOL!

 

Looks like March for us. But probably late Februray for the west coast, you guys always get stuff first.

Don't know. Sorry it didn't occur to me to ask that question. I get the impression I'm going to be coached before making these orders to ensure timely delivery, since the first run of Evos has already been determined as what package they'll be and maybe color as well. I may have to take what they give me...err us.

 

My General Sales Manager showed me the first allocation: 6 Evo's. This is for the launch, he said we'll be getting at least another 8-12 as the year goes on...maybe more if we sell ours quickly.

 

Maybe more if you sell them quickly? Finally, good incentive for the dealerships to not GOUGE on the sticker! The dealerships that sell for MSRP will sell out much faster, getting more cars to sell, meaning more long term profit! Thank you, Mitsubishi of America!

 

Just completed our first order of EVOs, and I must say it was a little bit of a let down. I didn't get a chance to change anything, but then I kinda expected that so...

Here's what we got:

Rally red w/ large spoiler
Rally red w/ large spoiler + sunroof
Tarmac black w/large spoiler + sunroof
Lightning yellow w/large spoiler + sunroof

I guess the rumor of production problems with the large carbon fiber wing was taken care of. That black one may just be mine.

 

How come other dealerships, or maybe just particularly mine, don't know when they'll be ordering Evo's just yet?
