Mitsu Emission Test?

This came in the mail today and I found it interesting enough to show yall. What it basically says is that they wanna test my car for emissions problems that might be associated with these cars after a certain number of miles. if i give them the car for 10 days they will convert it to 2wd for the tests , give me a rental, increase my powertrain warranty to 10yrs //100000 miles , detail and wash it , 200 bucks and keep it in a safe guarded garage fully insured.

So my question is this, has anyone gone thru this? evidently its based on your vin number being selected and I was wondering what should I do ?

I currently have only turbo timer and SS clutch Line, TB not here yet

i have the letter scanned but it wont let me attach

They give a number on the letter head for further questions not explained in the letter.

It also says they're testing my engine family on the second page

So for emissions testing for all of us, we have to find an AWD dyno?

sounds sketch, but if it works out it would be a sweet deal. free detail, rental, and $200. not to shabby.

my buddy got one too....

but he doesn't trust anyone taking his car for 10 days....who knows what they do to them...even though the letter says the car will be garaged and cared for...

the EVO is addicting hands down....so would u trust other people driving it for ten days when ur not around...?

besides...it sounds fishy....

I wouldn't want anybody touching my car, especially for ten days, without me being present.
