ok i know this is prob going to be a biased question. but here goes anyway.

im am 21 years old and im comming up on an other promotion at work soon. i drive a 94 eclipse awd well modded. my question is ive been looking at a 200? bmw 330ci 2 door or an nice evo 8. granted if i wait for the promotion i could keep my car and just buy one of those or if i don't i would have to sell my car to buy one.

what should i do?

and how much does insurance run you guys?

I looked at the 330Ci and almost bought one, then test drove the EVO at the last minute. Get the 330 if you want practical luxury with a bit of sportiness and super neutral handling. Get the EVO if incredible performance is what you seek.

 

I would go for the Evo 8.

The 330 is a nice comfort/luxurious car, but It can't give you the performance bang for the buck that the Evo can.

I would still pick this car over an E46 M3 - but then again I have a supercharged M3. lol.

You can't go wrong with the Evo.

 

White chicks enjoy BMW's , while Asian chicks Prefer the EVO . I am white and have never had the attention of Asian girls before But a friend has a 2002 2dr BMW thats not fast at all but gets girls to go "wow, you have a BMW ? (white Chicks) " while from white chicks I get "mitsubishi makes my moms montero"

HAHA, I wish ANY girls had a clue what the Evo is and how awesome it is, no one gets it untill they ride in it with me and even then they usually still don't get it, the only girl who's ever figured out how awesome it is is my Ex and that's just cuz I let her drive it for a second in a parking lot and made her slam on the gas, that and she already knows a lot about cars

 

well it kinda depends on what you want....I've had a 2001 BMW 330xi supercharged..H&R coilovers...etc.. And now have an Evo VIII.

BMW Pro's : Solid as a rock, super safe, considered high end and very classy, lots of luxury regardless of what model you get, great service, and free donuts and carwash on saturdays! (or was it sunday?)

Evo Pro's : Faster, better performance, easier to modify, huge aftermarket, sportier....i'm sure you are getting the idea. Basically the Evo is a purpose built sports car.

in cali, ive met only a couple girls who really know what a evo is...but i didnt get one cuz of the girls...well maybe just a little but its really what ur looking for. BMW was an option for me too. I wanted the best performance with a sacrfice to luxary. my 2cents

You can, it's called Mercedes, if you want both buy an AMG...oh what was it...it has like 700 hp and I've seen it before around here...same with Ferrari and all that. You just gotta spend A LOT more money to get performance AND luxury together
