Daily drive the EVO. I used to daily my Cooper S. It was a fun little car, very easy to toss around. The EVO seems more grown up as it has alot more power. Still when the weekend comes around or its nice out nothing keeps me out of my ls1 FD!

Yeah, I daily drive mine. It'd be nice if it got better gas mileage, yeah, but other than that I have no complaints. The fact that it's such a monster at the track doesn't mean it doesn't make a great daily driver, because it does. As has been said before, I would have gotten a high mileage Elise if I was looking for a weekend only car.

pbsis- Do u still got the H22 EK? Prior to my Evo I daily drove a 98' Civic Hatch w/a JDM H22 swap, no power steering, no ac, stiff azz coilover springs, and manual windows & locks in humid azz Tennessee.
Getting my Evo was like a gift from heaven! My only drawback is a little lower gas mileage and I'm paranoid as hell wherever i park it. I always find myself looking over it for any small dings or scratches before i get back in it. And also many times when i park random ppl will just walk over to look at it & ask me questions about it.....i can understand but still noids me

04 RS with 10,000 miles. Only weekends, sometimes not even then. My problem is, when I do get to drive it, it's "ball to the walls".

I would not want to drive my Evo as DD. I would roll a beater that I didn't give a rats **** about and have cruise control.

06 with 25k on it, so yeah it gets driven daily!

This fall I am hoping to pickup a beater though and do some work to the evo over winter.

Yea I still have the h22 hatchback. We just got it running a few days ago. Its more of just a fun beater then a serious form of transport. For the amount of money invested its very fun though.

Daily driver for sure... but I wish I had another car I could use since the Evo isn't exactly the best on the gas mileage. I used to have a Land Rover Discovery, and getting used to the speed and quickness of the Evo has been the best experience I've ever had with a car.
