Well hopefully u know to change that damn POS timing belt tensioner (auto tensioner) or better yet swap it out for a manual tensioner set up from the H23 . If not, DO IT...that's the weak point of that engine & they've been known to fail prematuerly which can easily blow your engine!! Trust me it almost happened to me, except I was stopped at a red light thank god!

if i drive it during the week it's never any further than a few miles. I'll always have a beater. Plus making the evo my weekend car probably helps the insurance a bit.

mine is my DD...
but then again i live right around corner from where i work, so its not a far drive. the temp gauge just starts moving by the time i pull up to work....lol

I feel sorry for those who have to DD their Evo's. I think they are fun to drive for a DD, but the miles (if you have a long commute) and gas mileage really sucks. When gas prices go up to 4-5 dollars per gallon for 93, the Evo community will be feeling it.
