Where can you get a new JDM recaro seat? Do any shops sell them?

As long as its for a ct9a chassis. It should fit any 7,8,9.

Just noticed this post
The JDM Evo seats eg: my 7s were narrow at the base
Easy fixed with 2 heavy hammers
1 Remove the base covers
2 Hold 1 hammer next to the lower side bolster rod
3 Belt the highest section of the rod out F 1 1/4" R 1" (each F/R corner)
4 If you want a bit more comfort, glue 1/2" extra sponge onto the base
5 If the bolster sponges are breaking up, glue 1/4" extra sponge over them
6 Put the base covers back on
Result, you can spread your legs and the uprights are more snug than Aus spec or US spec
