The paint itself doesnt look too bad. But if thats the metal under the paint that looks kinda melted, i would at least pull the cover to see if there is anything going on underneath. The cover gaskets are cheap anyway.

 

Pretty normal on our valve covers. Nothing to be worried about.

 

I have seen this on a number of high mileage Evos. The coating is wearing out. I think it's due to prolonged heat exposure.

 

Yup nothing to be worried about, I've seen this plenty of times on other evos. If it bothers you then repaint it

 

Don’t have it sand blasted though. Unless you remove the baffling
