The damper fluid is more viscous when cold. The tires side walls are stiffer when cold. Take your car out and romp it good for about 20 minutes and see if it feels softer. When struts fail you will get a very loose feeling car, if one jambs you will also bre able to feel it in the handling, there really much else that is likely to change the ride characteristics on and undamaged car.

I hope the dealer did not give you the impression that you should increase your tire pressure to soften the ride. Lower tire pressue softens ride but has drawbacks. It degrades turn in and may allow rollover of sidewall. If your side wall rolls over very far it can scrub and will cause the car to wobble during transitions.

I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. The last few replies make me think of this -

Could your wheels be out of balance? This will make the tire hop up and down a little bit if it is bad. When I get snow packed in one (or all) of my wheels the steering wheel vibrates, the car vibrates, and like you said it feels like you are driving over a bunch or pebbles or on a dirt road.

If your wheels are clean of snow, take your car back to the dealership and have them balance your wheels/tires for free, or take it to Discount Tire and pay $20-40 to have them do it.

Maybe one of the balance weights fell off? Maybe you hit a pothole and it tweeked your alignment? Who knows. If it's really that bothersome, take it in to the dealership and have them go on a test drive with you. They will know if it feels normal or not.
