Won't stop in snow

Well i was just wondering, my wife gives me a ton of sh*% when she has to drive my car when it snows, I realized it to. Now that we are in Pa. It doesn't stop worth a crap in the snow. What am I doing wrong. Is it me or do i need to get this checked out at the dealer. The brakes are supposed to be the shiz nit. So why does it take so much longer to stop in snow than in other cars any info is greatly appreaciated......

Thanks alot
Freddie T

Do not drive the stock Advans in snow!!

Advans are absolutely awful in the snow. You need winter tires. I have Hankook W300 for winter and the car is great in snow now...

Haha... the stock Advans' recommended operating temp is like, 40 something degrees or higher. Get some winter tires before you hurt yourself!

did you use the same profile as your stock tires? 235/45?

Any High Performance Summer tire sucks in the snow, when we got our first snow in the resorts I went up and they had like 3 inches and I had my Kuhmo Ecstas on...scariest experience ever...now with my Blizzaks the car actually goes the direction I want it to, get snow tires or at least some really good all-seasons

I got Dunlop snow tires on my probe gt that work great, but remember no matter what you have on the car to drive safe and slow down ahead of time in the snow. Something SUV's neglect to remember, just because you got fwd/awd it wont help you stop.

Blizzaks are always rated really well.

hahahaha to add insult to injuries, I was stuck driving my yellow s2000 home today. My buddy and I went to pick up my MR from the honda dealer since I left it there to bring home the s2k. It was not even a quater of an inch of snow on the ground and I was fishtailing all over th place. I was doing 10 miles on the turnpike and could not even make it off the off ramp. Finally when I got off and by the time we were at the local streets, I park that b*tch and left it somewhere and walk away saying bahhhhh f8Ck it.
