My EVO clunks too. I have the JIC coil overs and rear swaybar tuned by RRE in Calif. It didn't clunk when it was stock, but I got my JIC suspension 3 weeks after I bought my RS, and it has clunked, on an off, ever since.

So how is it being a US soldier in Belgium. Pretty good lookin' babes over there, eh?

 

I got my bushings replaced and it fixed the problem, but that was 8 months ago. Now i have the clunk again! I would lower my car, but that stupid clunk it holding me back. I'm due to go back into mitsu and tell them again about my clunks

just need to grease your u joints. this happened to my gf's car, greased it then a little adjustment from the dealership and the noise went away.

 

it's either that of a simple problem or you have to get your steering rod checked. it maybe in harms way and if it continues, it'll get progressively louder and happens a lot more.
