Whats the true hp rating??
I know it's rated about 280ps?? in japan but would the real
rating be higher b/c of mitsu's gentlemen agreement with the
gov't.
And knowing the true hp would help us know how watered down
US spec is compare with JDM spec.

I agree with Mark. I have read so many articles where they had interviewed Mitsu engineers and whenever asked most of them claimed the actual output is around 300 bhp when the car comes out of the factory. Any doubts will dissappear when you lay your hands on one of these beasts!!! ;-D
