Evo hero on NOPI tunervision
Unfortunately, remote broke, so watched the show last night for once.
They had this hero on who claimed to have spent 40 grand on his evo in modifications.
I'd say half that was spent on carbon fiber stuff.
Half the standard panels were carbon fiber, along with a lot of the interior.
Then he stuck a tacky body kit up on it, along with what seemed to be 400 gauges inside the car, and huge ICE system with a woofer that took up most of the trunk.
Maybe I'm missing the point here but what is the point of wasting all your money on CF stuff whose primary use is weight saving, if your going to throw a load of junk into and onto the car to make it heavy again?
I always felt that evos were b road racing machines, not fashion accessories.....

I think its worth spending some cash to make the beast look Show worthy.....why have a fast car that looks plain or for some people ugly, when you can make it look like a show car and still turn some heads after you kick some ARS......as some may know I got an EVO, but still am more show than go......while you guys are busy racing around, I am talking to all the babes in my show car ;D....
well if you want to put a cheap a$$ kit on a already great car, more power to you. just for you info. the front fasca of the evo has been pain stakenly designed to flow air into certain parts of the compartment, this duct goes to the brake this one for the oil cooler and the rest to the intercool and radiator. now add the cheap fasca to it and you screw the air flow up and you run hotter brakes hotter oil and intake charge. now i'm not for sure but i think the hotter, the worst it performs, cooler the better. but that's just me
Key quote... "NOPI TUNERVISION" does it need any more explanation?
Show cars are about how much money you can waste.. I have a show car that goes (not the Evo) I will *NEVER* waste money like that again.. And the chicks STILL dig me..
