I usually leave an alligator in the engine compartment. They seem to give off just enough heat to keep my engine warm thru the night. Plus once they get too hot they just climb out and run off into the swamp. Some of you might not live in the wonderful swamps of Louisiana or Florida so you might not be able to duplicate this idea, sorry.
