I was going through the same thing back in Sept 03. Only 4 months after the car came out. I ended up buying one from a Couple out in South Dekota. It had 4734 miles still smelled new and I have no regrets. As a matter of fact when the 9 comes out I may buy a used one also. There are some benefits. I payed $863 in taxes. Just stay away form the 18-29 year old selling their evo.
