Damn.. i always want figure out how to beat supra.. but Supra is cool..

 

evo 9 will have more potential than the 8, BUT will be very hard to tune because of the new mivec head. Even then a tuned supra will still beat u on the highway.
Stock supra engine are know to be able to handle close to 1000hp.

 

from a highway roll you have a slim chance. from a stop you have a better chance. I should know since i have both cars

 

not possible to beat them unless you have a bigger engine.

and I believe thier 'porky' weight is actually beneficienal when racing from a roll.

supras are cool. they sound nice and are amazingly sexy.

 

yeh if his friend's supra stay this way he ll have chance, but if he put let s say a TO4R in the supra....bye bye evo lol

Yea that supra tookoff on the cosworth bigtime. It handled well I guess, but its those straightaways that the supra will shine.

 

T04R is a turbo available from HKS. Capable of 700-800 RWHP with supporting mods.

well by watching those vids, the fact that supras are highway queens is proven lol

 

Your gonna need flash, exhaust and boost controller.Then you will be able to hang with him from a roll.I have a vid of me racing a supra from a roll,but you cant put the videos of street racing up over here.This is stating if he is basically stock.

 

Just race him in gt4 when it comes out. More fun

 

Yeah, that's a good way to beat him, let him upgrade a bit more without upgrading his tires... Then you'll smoke him cuz his tires will just sit and spin, I forgot about that... There's that National Supra meet in Vegas, and it HAPPENED to be the same weekend as a Spring Mountain track race event, so I was down there in my stock Evo, and my dad was there with his partially modded S2k, and we did a 3 way race against a guy who CLAIMED to have 500rwhp in his Supra, my dad's tires spun for a bit, his spun for awhile, my 4 grabbed like a **** and I was gone, then the Supra flew past me... Traction is key, can't go fast if you can't get power to the road
