u'll have less engine problems though And you'll be able to turn and hold 3 more people than him
The Supra engine is Stronger then the Evo Motor, probably the most over built motor in history and does not really require an upgrade through ANY stage of modding.

1000WHP, stock Block

Anyone know if Toyota will be bringing back the Supra any time soon? Toyota needs a supercar on the market. All they have now is the Celica GT-S.

Well, there goes that idea. Thanks for the info, though. With an engine that size I'm thinking it won't qualify as a ULEV and get 40 mpg. Guess I'll set my sights on the IX.

You will get destroyed on the highway take it to the drag. I beat a (I believe) 1998 tt supra by a tenth. we were both stock. I destroyed him out of the blocks, but after the end of second gear he pulled on me the whole rest of the way. I t was very close. If it had went any farther it would not have been pretty

supra will put planets on you... they are no joke!

Ive done my research on them, and im looking for one w/ low miles in so cali. On stock tires these things rip a new one out the hole.

A BPU stock Turbo's Supra will max out around 420WHP. They are a lil heavy, but the linear power deliver is so great, you would wish they weighed more. O modded Supra is VERY traction limited, the transition from lag to snapping to attention is so violent that is is very had to control, especially involving any type of turn with throttle on Exit.

A supra will make any WHP you ask it to, but imaagine not having usable traction until 4th gear. Up top will be stupid fast but basically you are driving a muscle car.

An Evo may make less whp, but it's power is 100% usable. The Evo will be infinatley more streetable at higher WHP levels. It is also an all weather sports car.
