Mark,

As I stated previously.. I'm far, far away.. My contact is a Tech at North Point Mitsubishi in San Antionio. I would have him get it for me. However the guys in the service dept. there are generally pretty cool cats. Give them a call and tell them you need the part number for the Mitsubishi Diamond gear old (for the EVO) thats in the 5 gallon drum.

If they don't help you out let me know and I'll give them a ring when I can.

Their number is: 210-249-7501

Cool.. thanks for the contact info! I was just wondering if there were any options other than getting the 5 gallon drum.

Several times people have posted on this thread that they needed the silver console cover that goes around the shifter, ash tray, and 12v. Each time, the part MR633547 was given. Later someone asked for the black bottom of the console that supports the trim panel, and part MR647677 was given.

I recently ordered MR633547 expecting the trim panel. Instead I was sent the bottom part of the console. Could someone please verify that the correct part number is for the upper silver trim panel for an Evo?

I called the dealer, and they clain MR647677 is the part # for the trim panel.

Are you refering to this post?

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ne...eply&p=1128471

I'm looking at CAPS right now and the lower portion of the console is MR633547 and the upper is MR647677

Not doubting you.. But this is odd.. Can you reverify the part number on the box? Also, when you ordered it, did you order by description or by the PN# listed here (or somewhere else..)?

If I could, I'd include a screen shot of caps indicating those are infact the correct part numbers.

Get back with me..

[EDIT]If you go to the parts dept have them go to Main 52, Sub 080 and show you PNC 74041. Thats MR633547 (the lower part of the center console). Then have them show you PNC 24054. Thats MR647677 (the upper portion.

Thanks Justin, I appreciate you verifying that part number for the upper console trim piece. I wish I had double checked this before ordering the first time!!

P/N request for the 05 teflon shifter cables. I'm not sure if they're only available on the MR or whether they're used across the board on all 05 EVOs and lancers.

The MR has a different part number than the GSR and RS models. All GSR and RS models ('03-'05) have the same shift cables.

MR: MR580533
GSR/RS: MN107670

Thanks Justin! The MR shifter cable is $91 from mitsubishiparts.net. Is that part number for both cables together?
