2 requests:

1. Can someone take a picture of the STOCK fuel injectors on your Evo8? I need to find out and make sure the injectors that came on my used Evo are stock...

2. Can someone take a picture of your camshaft through the oil cap on the valve cover - for STOCK or HKS camshaft-equipped Evo8's? And I mean a picture looking straight down into the valve cover with the oil cap off, so you can see the camshaft well...


Getting good lighting for these pictures, especially the 2nd one, will be difficult... but if someone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Take off your valve cover to see if they are HKS or not. For the injectors I would just pull one out to see what it has on it. Pictures will not do you much good.

man camera's no good coming out blurry

 

hks camshafts actually say "HKS" on them. you're gonna have to take off the valve cover to actually indentify which ones you have.

as for the fuel injectors, they have a pinkish top and on the left side it has the code "MDL560P" stamped on the left side next to the plug. on the right side there is code "INP-401" stamped on it.
