Greddy Type-S on a stock Evo

So my friend and I put the single spring mod Greddy Type-S on my stock evo last night. We checked to make sure none of the lines were pinching or restricted. My car doesn't make full boost quite as often or holds it longer than stock DV anymore.

So therefore I might have a leak? Do i need to adjust to harder setting or my friend said its my restrictive stock airbox causing this.

Anyone else have ideas?

Put the stock back on or a MR BOV, because the Greddy is overkill and if it vents to atmosphere is causing you to loose power.

Does a dirty intake filter in the stock airbox make low boost like this happen? Can it even?

i had the same one, i didn't have any problems with the type-s, infact i noticed that the boost seemed to kick in a few 100 rpm earlier, and i also got that nice whistle between shifts
