Thats correct. No vishnu failures. Their car was the problem. If Shiv wants he can shed more light. From what's been posted I won't comment right now as I would like to read the entire article.
I'm sure if Super Street or Import Tuner or someone like that did it they'd have no problem with whatever. Car & Driver seems to be the "my dome light doesn't work... better take it to the dealer!!!" kind of magazine. In other words not used to modding, and the side effects. I mean if you pump up a car and then thrash it with major acceleration runs, isn't it obvious that an organic style clutch is going to go??? Modding a car is not advisable if you can't even fix a loose screw (pun intended)...
I don’t know guys but I have seen stage 1+ and 1++ and they were extremely reliable. Shiv did not learn tuning yesterday so when tunes he knows what he is doing with his eyes closed. Their car had so many other issues and we all know that the boys at the C&D are not the smartest out there. I am going to wait and read the article.
The only thing i agree with C&D about is that limp home boil****.
I run into that like once a week!!!!! 15 psi out of nowhere, sucks when your on the freeway and a porsche is trying to race you........REALLY SUCKS

We'll be back in C&D Supertuner shootout later this year (3rd year in a row) and we hope to redeam ourselves
Cheers,

It was a press car so it was a bit more rough around the edges than any customer car I've seen. But that is to be expected. However, I wasn't aware that anyone, other than myself, tried to tune the XEDE. Oh well, you can't win them all

best of luck my friend
Shiv- I think we here have a perfect example of magazines taking it a bit too far. As far as I know Devin did not have anything to do with it. He may have addressed some other problems, but he is an AEM EMS tuner and i know he did not touch the Xede.
