Hey i saw these in the new Super Street. ANyone know a site that sells these for a good price? theyre basically gas shocks on both sides of the hood to hold it up.

 

The kit is not available for the Evo yet. It is not a universal fitment.

 

prop rod just doesnt do it for you anymore?

 

i dont have a stock hood prop..lost it. and yea i just saw it on Tein's site, its not for the evo, but couldnt i adjust it in someways to make it fit? Btw: its called a Hood Damper.

 

In order to make that work, there would need to be a mounting point in the engine bay and a mounting point on the underside of the hood. I have seen the one for the Impreza WRX and it appears to have a ball joint on each end. It's just a matter of time before Tein mathematicians devise the perfect length and strength of the shock. In the meantime we just have to be patient.
