For anyone with personal experience with safety equipment, what do you think a high-quality custom roll cage for an EVO ought to cost, including all installation labor?

Do you have a sunroof or not?

I got a Japanese 6 point cage made for the Evo. The hitch was designed for a Evo sans sunroof. The shop I bought it at had to do some reworking to make it right. The one I have does not impede you getting in or out of the car, front or back.

If I remember correctly, It was around $1,000.

Had my custom roll cage put in for about 1200- here in orange county, same guy that put in the Sparco cage. Good Stuff....
I also cant imagine how a sunroof would affect a 6 point cage.

 

Roof height vs height of cage installed. Sunroof lowers the roofliner.

usually if you could get it for $1000, for the 12 point cage, you got yourself a deal.

if you get one of those removable door rods, then the price goes up.
