for the 7 grand you save you could put it in other mods and make it alot more than 20 feet

A little oversimplification. The funny thing is that $7K isn't all in "performance" parts related to that 20feet.

Sidenote: I read this whole article in Motor Trend. I think it was Feb or Mar edition. There was a nice article afterwards show the true effects of the vortex generator. It even had a thermal picture showing the airflow comparisons. They taped little streamers on the roof and watched the effects.

 

Easy decsion, if u bought the evo to mod, u buy an RS!

MR not worth 7 Grand. thats BS, I bet i put 7 GRAND in a GSR and run 3-7Sec quicker around the track. and run 11's all day! 7Grand in an RS would smoke that MR around the track lets be real!

 

LOL in reality you dont have a warranty to begin with. Ok you take the 2 grand out of the 7 and mod it, still be a hellava lot faster. And save the 5 for any work that warranty wouldnt cover anyway.

 

I can't stand those comments like that. Thats just like my Dad bought a 04' C5. Then saying well you shoulda got the Z06... And your comment is just like saying NOOO Why the money you pay for the Z06 you put into the C5 and go sooo much faster. That is just stubborn. My roomates and I fight like that all the time and it gets so old. One of them owns a 1g Eclipse he picked up for 1400 bucks. He always says you payed 35k for your MR and if I put the remaining 34,000 into my DSM I will kill you and it is FWD and I could use it to beat you on the turns too....

It isn't BS as you state it. It is what you own. And the RS is lacking so much. So you are comparing GSR and MR. Which depending on dealers is about 4-5k in differences. But adding options to the GSR bring it pretty close in pricing. The 6 speed wasn't a drop in performance it was an added gear. The LSD etc. It adds up to pretty much the same, and I am do not regret getting rid of my GSR and getting the MR.
