Question Display with radio relocation kit.

I've got an aftermarket head unit. It's currently in the factory radio location. I'm debating getting the Mitsubishi kit to move the radio to underneath the heater controls.

My question is will this help visibility of the display? It's a Blaupunkt Los Angeles and if the sun is out I can barely read the thing. I'm thinking the kit would help as the sun is not as strong down there but, I don't know about the angle it will sit at. I'm sure someone has done this, help a brother out would ya.

It help get the display out of the sun obviously, but it's not going to be anymore at eye level. Although the slight tilt will be toward your eye instead of away from it.

Its better down there, especially if you're planning on adding gauges, because then you can put them where the radio was. The gauges are a lot easier to read up in the original radio location. and it also makes changing songs easier because its around the shift knob.

If I ever install my alpine DVA unit i will relocate below, it will help keel it visible and wont stick out over the top of my dash like my HVAC has a chub.
