Sort of... I live in the US now, and have done so for the past 6 years, but I was born in England and lived there for 28 years. All of my family still live there. Saying 'we' is just habit .

$90k USD is around 45k pounds sterling. That will not buy you much of anything supercar-wise in the UK.....certainly not a decent used DB7.

You really want to know why there is such high tax?


Well the royal family (crooks) own the friggin place and you are paying them rent so they can do anything they want ie. sexcapades, take lavish vacations to remote place in the world where most people hardly even leave their own country.

I was in Europe once, I'll never go back unless it is back to Germany to visit family again. Oh and Sweden, women there are pretty hot.

 

were just lucky here in the US, import duties are very cheap. thats why our market is flooded with stuff from overseas, maybe good for us consumers and bad for local economy
& american workers...

Although you shouldn't have backed it up with (I was in Europe once) It hardly makes you an expert.

 

Cars are expensive there only because of the exchange rate. The average British worker makes more than Americans. Don't think of it in dollars because we get raped on the exchange rate in England. I had to live with it for three years and it sucks trying to convert my meager pay to cover bills on the British economy.
