Look at what us p-car guys are saying about the evo

To the guy who said 911's are ugly, gimme a break. 911's are timeless and I would love to own one in the future. It has a rich racing heritage, and don't bash on it just because some ****** from a Porsche forum bash our cars.
Porsche. There is no substitute

I'm not bashing the Porsche. Just stating the obvious. Go and check the styling reviews of the Porsche from when they just came out. Yes they look different today, but the basic style has remained the same. The cars looks has gained acceptance because it has been around (in the basic shape) for a long time and it is somewhat exclusive. But it's still not a "looker". It's kinda of like that ugly guy that becomes a celebrity and all of a sudden he is one of the fifty most handsome men in the world. Don't confuse desireabilty with good looks. Compare the 911's to it's competition; the Ferrari 360 ( or 430 or 355), and the Lamborgini Gallardo. How much of a looker are the 911's compared to these cars?
Don't get me wrong, I love them. They are great machines that over a period of years have become desireable because of their heritage, performance, and exclusivity..........A "looker" no way.

After owning and driving more than a dozen P cars and still owning one I can say that the Evo is a hoot and can not be matched for the bucks. And with my mods I can stay ahead of most P cars 0n a road course like Mid Ohio VIR etc. Does it have the fit and finish of a P car? No, but on the other hand when P revamped their assembly line procedures who did they call on? You got it Japan.
Answer to the question above- with the Porsche the ****** are on the inside.

Porsche SUV's, that's like health food at McDonald's (oh wait, they have salads and veggie burgers now).
At least the President of Ferrari promises there will never be a prancing-horse SUV.

The EVO might be ugly, but it is better looking than a 911.

There comparing two totaly different cars! 4wd vs rear they have nothing in common the closed thing in common is the cayenne and thats only close because it has 4 doors lol they need to grow up if you took the cost of a 996tt and took half of the difference between that and an evo and put that into the evo, it wouldnt be a contest the evo would flat out murder it! Plus in my eyes the evo is the sexiest looking car on the planet! I mean come on the rally look!
i like this guys post ..
´ve a friend who has both, and every time he goes to the track he takes the EVO. He said there´s no comparisation between the two, the EVO is much more exciting and pleasant to drive on mountain roads and circuit he said. No mods on the 996TT and the EVO has only a sport suspension and better brakes, nothing more.
