Midwest delivery dates pushed back!

Looked at all the cars coming to the Midwest (Wisconsin,Indiana,Illinois,Ohio) and the first allocation has been bumped to 3/3-3/5 as the ship dates.

WTF is going on? Anyone know what's up? Can someone on the west cost have their dealer check and see if their first allocation units have been bumped as well?

What are you talking about Fireball? I'm still gain for 2/10 unless there is a change on the system. I just called by the way.

Re: Midwest delivery dates pushed back!

maybe that explains why us Pennsylvania folks were now quoted 3/13.

Earliest Ship Date in the Midwest is now 03/03/2003, as per 3pm today (CST). My guess is that your dealer that you called was still looking at the inbound list from Monday, which said 2/10 for me, but it says 03/03/2003 today.

Fireball - can you see any of the ship dates for Missouri or (especially) Kansas?

I haven't gotten an update from my dealer... like to see if we've pushed back as well...

Doesn't surprise me one bit. I've been warning people these ship dates wiggle around all the time. I didn't expect the date to stay at 2/10.

Notice though that the 3/13 cars seem to have moved up to 3/03.

Highly doubt it. I can only view inbound shipments in my region.

But, Mark, we're sure of the Ralliart Lancer, right?

In all seriousness, we're lacking a "my complete and utter lack of suprise" smiley.

Absolutely. Pierre announced it, the car will hit some of the auto shows this spring and be in stores by fall - kinda like how the EVO is hitting the auto shows first before becoming available to the public

This actually marks something of a sea-change in the way markets its cars BTW and it is very welcome. They are doing the same thing with Endeavor. Hopefully the Outlander was the last of the old-school marketed cars.

Fireball, you can view pre-ships in Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri. You and I are both in NC-50 and those states are district C8 in our region. For whomever asked, they have the same ship dates as everyone else BTW. 3/03. I'm sure Fireball can back me up in that the date could well change once or twice more before the transporters start rolling.
