Another Update: After messing with the gain setting on the cruise control (throttle response, and throttle speed), I couldn't get it to calm down when the boost kicked in. My remedy for this was to put in a pinhole size restrictor in the line coming from the vacuum bottle. This meant that when the turbo started spooling, the cruise control unit could only use the small amount of vacuum coming from the bottle. This kept it from giving it too much gas and flying past the set speed. All and all, I wish I would have just changed the cruise control over to an electric unit, because it's taken me a year to get this one working right.
