It sure is.. unfortunately, that's the kind of world we live in today. It's like how security at airports will profile middle easterners simply because of what has happened in world events recently. But what can ya do.

Just lose the big wing. At least give it a try before you get rid of that sweet ride(I too have a gg MR). You might decide you like the smaller wings you could get after seeing them on your car. I just know you will be sorry once the MR is not sitting in that big garage lookin all pretty! Once you get on the force, you won't have to worry about it anymore. Just don't get a ticket before you get hired and done with academy. JMO

 

Thanks for all the replies guys. my wife and i have been searching for a new car and she has the attitude of selling it for sure. she was in the car when the "officer incident" occurred. i've received a few offers already and just waiting to see if the local paper does anything better. thanks again, this forum and the people in it are great. i'll continue being a member and maybe i'll be another evo owner once i get in the police department. i'll definitely will be letting the evos go by
