I'd avoid that gas station from now on...looks like they're scamming you out of your money. The Evo gas tank is 14.0. Even if you run out of gas, there's no way you can put in 14 gallons. I think their meter is a little optimistic for their benefit.

I've found around ~2 gallons left when the light comes on.

Very true. Everything in that picture is ghetto-rigged, so I'm sure the pump is too.

I recently drove my car (highway) 40 miles with the needle firmly on E.

The way I figure it ... 14.0 gallons + whatever fits into the filler pipe, so 14.09 doesn't seem unreasonable. But yeah, the "ghetto" gas station isn't anywhere near my usualy routes, hehe

The most I've ever put into mine was right around 12 gallons. I paid 2.26 yesterday for 93 but it's been higher lately.

ive noticed that when you at an incline upward, the gas needle tends to fall. but when your on a incline downwards it tends to rise..

my driveway is a a steep incline and when i park normally the gas light comes on when i have low fuel and when i get on a level serface i magically get gas
Crazy how that works ! It must be cause we are in Vegas and they put something special in the gas .
