I recently was looking at my car and notice some crappy workmanship. The driver side passenger quarter window rubber seal is pinched and also the weather strip that runs from the front of the windshield to the rear window is also pinched. The area of where the vortex is connected is where it is pinched. Should I make the dealer replace the seals?

 

I think you should. On mine the driver's side door wasn't mounted correctly and it was rubbing the paint of the front corner panel. Had them take it all off and repaint it. Friend with an 03 had the same problem; says the robots must've been angry that day!

Or it could be that someone tried to break into your car, trying to shimmy a stick to slide a glass panel or what not.
