05 GTO with the new LS2 400hp engine. I'm 95% sure i'm going to buy one. The new Vettes are nice but I want the comfort of the GTO. People say there ugly, You have to see them in black with aftermarkets rims, with the Factory sport appearence package

^^^^ My thoughts exactly.

The EVO's gonna be nice and paid off by then and I hope to have one of the 1st ones off the lot. You really cant go wrong. All the comforts and class of the G35 with performance that will make the EVO shudder. Hopefully.

I like the idea of the M3. I often think about the same thing, of having a little more of a professional type car yet powerful and quick I am thinking of a couple year old M3.

i drove my co-workers 03 M3 for a while (2 days) and it made me feel like i was 45 (i'm 23) so i definately don't want a car to make me feel Older. My vote is still for the Skyline in 07

I too Love my evo, but have been toying with the idea of getting somthing a little more upscale, but still like the idea of awd. The real thing that gets me about every other car I have looked at is their damn big *** wagon wheel steering wheels!!!!!!!!! Like the C6, cts-v, even the s4, they all have these huge wheels, like your driving your mom's old Impala or somthing. I guess I just love the wheel on the evo,,, or is it the razor sharp steering??

The best I have seen so far is the M3, a few months back I seen about 4-5 of them on ebay. They were 2001- 2003 and ranged from $34-$45k. A few were certified pre-owned and came with a 100k mile powertrain warrenty,, not shabby. The one for $45 was an smg with 9.5k miles on it, and a 100k warranty!

Look around you can find a really good deal on a nice used car.

G35 would probally be pretty good for what you're looking for, an M3 would be nice too

I vote for the M3. I typically get 2 cars per year (usually used) and hold each of them for a year. The only car I have gone back to 3 times has been the M3 (2 E36s and 1 E46). It is just an extremely civil car that will remain so even with modifications. There are 4 superchargers available for the E46 now, so power is no longer an issue. One even makes 500 WHP, albiet at an hefty expense.

the 2007 skyline will get downtunned so much it won't even live up to its name, i would get a R33 Skyline, you can find those for under $45K, and you would be one of few to own one

I'd rather have a new MR than used M3.

FWIW, Skylines and MRs, et al, are not professional or "classy" vehicles.

I know your feelings, I been thinking my self trading my EVO for something more "professional" (I consider the EVO my self a very professinal car with high performance) like BMW, MB,AUDI etc. I test drove my self several vehicles including MB, 300BMW and AUDI, By the way the new AUDI A4 turbo looks very nice. But there is something with the EVO besides rhe power and performance that every time I have second thoughts and I end up keeping the EVO. My wife says that this is "love"
