street mostly, doing my first autoX on sun, I'd love to road course... If I had the money, and lastly rally would be my dream, But I just absolutely do not have the money for stuff to keep breaking.

I have never taken any car I've owned to a track actually. I had had plans to take my RX7 to VIR sometime this year, but it's something I just won't have time for. Never had it to the 1/4 track either.

I'll go ahead and list my age as well, as I think that would be iteresting to see what kind of racing people do at what ages.

I'm 33.

Street racing is the way to go!!! The adrenaline rush is great, and you can smoke cars that won't take it to the track but think their car is fast anyway.

Marko, you live so close to VIR. You need to go up to Danville and see what the R1 can do! Are you a doctor by any chance? I remember when I went to Greensboro, there was a doctor's office on every street (apparently Eastern Carolina Medical College or something is over there).

nothing compares to doing a trackday with the Evo.... just last week I was able to pass Porches/vettes/M3's/everything else in my class. Race tracks are the best!

I just moved back to Greensboro from Philly about a month and a half ago. I know VIR is close, but the car is being sold next week. I'm not a doctor, but I play one on the radio.

If I get an EVO, I'll hit up VIR maybe.

I would go there a lot if I lived that close, but for now, I live too far to go there unless for a real event (driving school or some professional race event).

kind of off-topic...but has anyone around ohio ever raced/driven on the Mid-Ohio Sportscar track?

I'm thinking of putting my Advans on, top off the intercooler sprayer, and paying for a few laps in the Evo...how does the process work with them? Do you need a track membership? Do you need to buy your own helmet and other stuff?
