A Geo Metro with a swap and turbo could actually be quick...Maybe toss in a good 1 liter bike engine and use a turbo on it and get 170+ hp.

 

The differences are so subtle, I still don't know why people risk it. Just seems dumb to me.

Yes subtle (to me at least). Feel free to list all the differences, cause to me they look almost identical (sans a few things here and there). I'm here to learn, so if you could list them, I'd appreciate it.

 

ok evo 7 and evo 8 differences

evo 7 has different bumpers,hood, spoiler,and tails.
evo 7 has a better motor because the evo 8s have been watered down for the USA
evo 7 isnt something you can just pick up at a dealership
evo 7 wont be driven like evo 8s are
great for car show purpose

and finally whats the great risk? EI ran into some problems at the begining but if you take your time and do research you will see they have a great importing business now. hey does anyone know of frank is on this forum? cuz he sent me an email but my email isnt workin... hey cubanevo can u email frank that and tell him to pm me here or reach me on aim? thanks a ton!

 

No offense, but those are some pretty bad examples to spend time and money on importing an EVO 7 instead of buying an 8. But hey, it's your money, so do with it what you please.

If all this is true about how EI imports cars I could buy a VII over hear and they couldl take care of all the paper work before I come back to the states that way it wont have to be disassembled right.
