Most tracks -obviously- don't have a full fire department. Unfortunately many times they just have to let the car burn to the ground. There was a similar fire at my local track and there is nothing they could do. You need a professional fire department and a tanker truck to take care of a fire like that.

But really that's gotta suck...all that money, time, and love just GONE in a matter of minutes.

 

I don't know if you noticed, maybe you somehow missed the burning car and the 3 or 4 people with fire extinguishers that tried to put the fire out, but a fire extinguisher isn't going to do **** for you in that situation, even moreso, the fire extinguisher that you'd have in your car, one of those little foot long ones is going to do even less.

 

yea that definately really sux, hope nobody was hurt, details on how it happened would be nice
