brand new STI for 28K OTD makes me feel bad

i have a friend of mine that told me that his friend got a 2005 STI for $28k OTD AFTER taxes... i cant believe how cheap that can be, comparing having in mind I paid $10k more for my MR, it just makes me feel bad. defeinitely, i like the looks and performance of the evo better, even just the regular evo GSR, but for 28k for the STI, it just makes me feel that i could of wait for that price and jump into it.

28k because the subby dealerships want to get rid of their 2005 models, to have space for 2006 models.

You can do the same thing with the Evolution VIII's right now, before or after, they get their 2006 models. Any dealership really.

EDIT: Getting them cheaper that is. Why did you pay so much for an MR? The idea is to go at or below MSRP, not higher. >.<

no, for the 2005 evo models going out, i think the lowest should be 30k... for the MR, 38k for a graphite grey would be a really considerable price already, ask the owners of grey MRs, most of them for it for the same price...

MR > STI > GSR

Absolutely no way............$28k before taxes would be a hell of a deal on an '05 STi......$28k after taxes would mean that the dealership is losing money on the deal (unless they screwed him over on a trade-in).

I went to local mitsu dealer about trading my RS for GSr.

They has 3 04' Gsr and 2 05'. Dumasses would not budge on 04', insisting they were "NEW" cars! For 33k before tax!!!! Ok, then those 04' will be "NEW" in 2010 if not sold....

Why do Mitsu wonder why they're losing business when all they have to do is look are their sorryass dealers!!!!

yeah, I pay you 33k + tax for "NEW" 04' GSR, NOT!!!!!

The Subaru dealer by me is selling STi's for 32000, before taxes. So I think your boy got a used STi, or a demo with alot of miles.
