head work and higher lift cams and more tuning. I think the motor needs more work.
would a sheetmetal intake manifold make more power on stock turbo?

You are definately lean and most likely pulling timing, hope you have fuel pump and cold plugs in there as your likely to chip a piston like that. You need to log your timing. 12.0 on c16 may be ok, but on pump gas, you're nuts.

Yeah I think you couldn't go wrong with a Cat delete and intake...Especially with all the mods you have already.

He is running a HF cat and TT probably uses a tail pipe sniffer. That, most likely, is the reason the graph is showing 12:1 AFR.

Now that sounds like a logical response. I don't see much benefit in running a wideband at all if that is the case. Unless there is some rule of thumb for a HFC a/f offset.

From what I have seen and heard, for a high flow cat it is roughly 0.5-1.0:1 depending on the HF cat. Running a wideband is still a good idea since you'll still be able to see if something bad is happening; ie crazy lean or pig rich.

so, if you're running no cat, your AFR would show up leaner than it is with the tail pipe snifer?

what the...

If you are running a cat, w/ a tail sniffer, your A/F will look leaner then they actually are. If you are running no cat then you're getting a good/accurate A/F reading.

I don't recall TT using a tailpipe sniffer - at least, not the long pole kind that goes into your exhaust, anyway. Unless there's another type of tailpipe sniffer?

Isn't the EvoIX supposed to have a new compressor? Maybe that could help boost hp another 10 or so. And that would surely be a cheaper alternative to having head work and/or porting on the stock block.

I think I should be ok AFR, a lot of the DSM guys have been running 12:1 AFR's for awhile.

How exactly does the alky injection work? Isn't it throttle based? If I did get alky, then I'd probably want an ECM with a switchable map, one with, one without the alky. How $$ is it to refill the alky anyway?
The bushur and the ams kit are both boost based. You can set them up to turn on at whatever boost you want. Where I'm at methanol is around 2.50 a gallon. Its actually cheaper than 93 oct.

What type of WB did you dyno your car with. If it is the sniffer type then it will show up leaner since you have a cat on your car.

Can't say I know what WBO2 they use at TT. Does anyone else know for sure?

Actually, what is the difference between alcohol/water injection? I was under the impression water injection is used only to cool the intake charge - is alcohol injection actually used as a fuel additive?
