New Gauge Pod Idea...Can someone create?

Got this gauge pod idea after seeing the JDM evo's with climate control down in the lower din panel. If we're able to purchase the lower din panel with the climate controls and move it down there, we'd be able to use this panel. Sorry for the rough picture, I just used MS Paint. This panel would be mainly used for people that track the Evo, because you'd have to mount your Headunit somewhere else (RRM glove compartment carbon fiber panel maybe, just use a remote, most HU's come with them now anyway.) Just an idea I thought of, What do you think?

you can always make a gauge pod above the rear view mirror that attaches to the roof.. or take out a set of the heater vents next to the hazard lights and put em in there. I've seen people do them like that before.

You can't put the JDM climate control in, it's been discussed.

ok, then, you can custom fab your own panel for the lower din or move all the controls into the glove box and put the HU in the lower din panel. I know that's been done.
There was a member on here that fabricated his climate controls into the lower din panel not too long ago, so that can be done easily. My mistake from the beginning on the JDM panel, I didn't research, I assumed it would work. I know, I messed up that part. but it can be done.

rerouting all the mechanical stuff into the glove box, would be really hard and not cost effective....

its hard enough to move it down to the lower din, and no one has PERFECTED that yet....meaning a fully done project, with a cover and stock looking...

just go craig hardy panel and be done with it

nothing's wrong with a 3 gauge pod on the dash. what's wrong with a 5 gauge pod on the dash? also nothing. The guy in this thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...limate+control said it would only be about $100 to move everything below, not bad if you ask me and that he might try and be a vendor and sell these kits to everyone. When driving a performance vehicle, you have to monitor more than just 3 gauges. You have many to monitor, why not put them all together so you can check them all at one glance instead of glancing at your dash, then to your a pillar.

Pillar + dash = 6 gauges and if you need more steering wheel X 2. My 2 cents is console mounted gauges are too low for viewing.
