No Front Plate Ticket - I Love LA!

The City of Los Angeles can kiss my natural eye-talian ***. After being kept up all night by some idiot emptying his 9mm, and a too little way too late police response, I stumble down to the street to see a PARKING ticket for no front plate on my EVO.

This is the SECOND one I've got since I moved here while the car was parked. I hope they spend the money to put Mr. 9mm in jail, but they'll probably spend it on donuts, or fuel for the circling police chopper.

It's enough to **** you off, and make you post on the internet or something.

The meter maids can issue the ticket for no front plates. Ridiculous.

yes they can. however, if you get a ticket while it was parked, you just have to pay for it, but not fix it. If you get pulled over while driving for it, then youll have to pay for it AND fix it. Ive had both before and it sucks when you gotta go to the court house and then to CHP station then back to court and crap like that. So in a way, its better to get that ticket while you are parked than driving.

Well i went through the same, but i got a warning slip. I was parking my car in a costco parking lot and there was a cop that was circling the lot and then when i parked the freakin' cop pulled his car behind my car in the spot and boxed me in and said, "Liscence and Registration please". I was like you gotta be kidding me, instinctively i knew it was my plate, but i didnt know what i was going to get myself into. thankfully it was a warning slip, but the most dicky thing about this was that it was my birthday and when he gave it to me he said Happy Birthday. What a dick, eh?

I don't think they can give you a ticket if you are on private property, such as a Costco parking lot.

It is because they can't get your for a photo enforced red light ticket without a front plate. Just get to a CHP station with your plate in the front window and have them stamp your ticket as corrected. It costs nothing at the CHP abd many times they stamp without looking.

i know how u feel i lived in LA for 17yrs, but recently moved up north, i went to LA for ONE night, the next day i wake up and find a no front plate ticket issued by the parking d*cks. I just tore it up and tossed it on the street for them to clean up. LA sucks.

It's the second one I've got, so yes they can. To be honest - I forgot all about the front plate not being on there. The last time I got one I didn't live in LA county.

The best part is I read the ticket, and if you challenge it, then take proof of a fix the court, they will give you a whopping ten bucks off the thrity dollar ticket. What a deal!

As if it isn't expensive enough to live in LA they have to hit you with hidden taxes for nothing.
