Yea, because we all know how hard it is to modify the WRX and especially those POS Cobra's.

Haha, yup. Those Cobra's and WRX's are SO hard to modify. 51whp from an up pipe, muffler, pully, and piggybacked ECU? Thats total crap!

Great to have a guy online..

Tell me, do you work for corporate?
Or are you employed with a dealership?
What is your "official" position in any respect?

Thanks for visiting, I agree that this EVO 8 is the right one...
Thats why I have one coming even though my wife thinks it's a "kids car"..
I'm 31....

The tagline on his post says that he works for a dealer.

FYI...

He's definitely employed in a Mitsubishi Dealership. Read the first post. And his Screen name.

i just had 2 evos come available because of the nine i had reserved, 1 gentleman -black evo no roof- ran into financial problems, and another didnt want yellow and is paying 8000 over at another dealer to get a blue one which i also have at the beginning of march, but he couldnt wait, haha, tell me if anyone is interested, im a lot easier to work with than the typical car salesman as i have a passion for the vehicle, not just the money....
You mean this tag line? It just seemed like he was speaking from "Corporate or something" ..

i knew you disgruntled types would start this up, ok, im not going to explain this again so read carefully, i work at a dealer... yes... but i was flown down for the unveiling for being salesman of the year, and as far adjectives go, just because you recognize what sort of words i use, doesnt make you a good writer, so dont belittle me by being superfluous with your opinionated commentary, i am doing you a favor by giving you information only few know because i am lucky enough to go to a lot of corporate meetings...
the reason i am giving you information about my personal vehicle is in order to not only break down the dealer/customer barriers, but to explain i know my stuff when it comes to the 4g63 and allwheel drive performance times. excuse me for feeling it appropriate to explain my qualification and similarly encourage the validity of my words......
so, coolguy, as i don't judge you and say that anyone that feels they need to put the word cool in their name, is probably reflecting on a bad high school experience, or perhaps making up for the fact that his 95 eclipse spins his wheels off the line because he thinks burnouts are 'cooler' than awd performance, id ask you show me the same respect and dont ruin my enthusiasm to share inside info with you...
with that said, i hope we can keep this clean from now on or ill just let you figure things out when the rumors pop up from when someone mother's brother's uncle's cousin's job at rei who equip cars with racks thinks he has a clue what a billion dollar corporation will be doing next....
04 eclipse is the most secretive as that car is an emotional purchase, so i dont know much, but style will be all new, built off the new platform mitsubishi is incorporating on the new 04 endeavor which will be out at the end of this month, and the 04 galant which will be going through huge changes for 04, that will be way more powerful, roomy, better performing, and they style is awesome, for the same price as the present vehicle......

Thanks for the information, concordmitsunet.

Any word on when Evo8 will be getting to Oregon?? :P

How much over MSRP are you guys charging for those getting a car in the 1st shipment??

What options are you guys providing with the car? Pedals, Gagues ... etc .. or are they pretty much stock?

How much tax is involved with buying a car from Cali? I live in oregon and we don't have any sales tax ...

Thanks!

in regards to a car getting to a particular state, its just how long it takes to get there from the port, in regards to a dealer however, we earn them based on number of sales and our rating on the csi which is the customer service index, as far as markups go, i dont even know what my profit margin is until i get the cars invoice in, then my dealer will determine the exact costs, just remember, everything in the car business is negotiable, its supply, demand, and who you know..... haha
