I am not flaming, however, 8K over MSRP is ludicrous. I guess I am not surprised since it is California. Irregardless of your needs to make up for past shortfalls, the car is not worth 8K over MSRP. Period.

I am amazed at certain dealerships "Beanie Baby" approach to long term customer relationships. Business must be very good.

Chill out... the car will get here when it gets here. The information will get released when it gets released. A lot of us have been waiting for several years for the Evo to be released in the US. It's finally coming, and a few weeks of "delays" from when the car was rumored to arrive and people start freaking out? Keep some perspective... in the grand scheme of life this is peanuts.

This forum has been getting ridiculous lately. I have been decreasingly interested in reading it in the last couple weeks, because the majority of the substance has been disappearing and it's being replaced by tuner pissing contests and flame wars. It seems like all that happens now is someone makes a post and some of the veteran members flame them into the dirt, and then move on. Newbies get talked down for not using search, repetitive posts get flamed and now subaru enthusiasts have crept in and started trolling. This is nothing like the way the site was when I signed up.

I miss the days of informative answers and good discussions.

 

I dont know why everyone is so uptight?? no offense to m3 or gptourer, who seem like exceptions to this rule, but he comes across like any other car salesman I've come across (mark f seems to mean well and be trying to help, but you can tell he's a dealer, still ok in my book).. arrogant, trying to act buddy buddy, while trying to talk down to you, make you feel like you shouldnt disagree with them.. they try to dictate the terms of the conversation into their specific area where they know enough big words to stay afloat.

the only thing worse than flaming people or arguing withe the on the internet is trying to impress them... on that note, thanks for the groovy video.. and the pics of the lear... and the women.

I know you dealers got it rough, with a bad image, stereotypes (which i did nothing to alleviate, sorry), and all, but every once in a while, you see where it comes from
