Who drives with you, in your group of tuner buddies, friends, aquaintences and such what do they have for cars, what do you think of them and what do they think of yours. I know there are some cars that just don't fit in.

 

i tend to drive alone... there isnt really a car clan around here...

 

Not really what I meant. What do your friends drive etc. I wasn't talking about what is in your pack of cars on the street, but what do the people you talk cars with, work on stuff with, go to the track with... what do they drive?

 

My friend andrew has a WRX stock....I thought it was the fastest car ever when i first drove in it...(compared to my first car at the time). But now, well, its just okay...he should up the modding process a little

My friend bill with a A4 with the S4 engine swap...that car hangs with mine. Very impressive but theres something about it that just doesnt make me think its really all that good. He thinks my car is incredible.

And, my uncle who has a M3 sometimes goes for criuses with us. His car is nice, although he likes the performance of mine, just not the harsh cheapy-loudness (he's a business guy so i cant blame him for not wanting to have this car)

All in all, The A/S4 gets the most attention when we hang, but thats because he spent the rest of his money in places i wouldnt on a performance car....

 

3 of my friends have 04 G35, and my cuzin has the 05 G35. another friend w/ 03 tiburon. those are the people i pretty much chill and get drunk with

 

Well, I run the local DSM club, so the only people I talk "cars" with all own DSMs, all of which are modded to some degree. I have also begun to interact with the local Evo club, but that's sort of self-explanatory. None of my regular friends or acquaintances know a single thing about cars, so there's nothing interesting to mention there.

 

a lot of my friends that know cars have beaters haha. Tuned up beaters but they just don't haev the money. One of my buddy's has a 11 second Turbotrix Evolution which made me decide to get an Evo. Besides that an 02 oz rally Lancer a wrx a 69 chevelle and my mom's boyfriend is the man of the hour......05 viper 69 roadrunner triumph street bike harley now he knows his cars haha. That would sum up my car talk buddies

 

Well usually its my brother with his Camaro SS and my friend that just bought an SRT-4 then there is a couple of Evo Owners that i usually talk about cars ...like Smogrunner and IE Evo... umm. those are locals ..

 

Mostly wrx's.
2 stis, 1 wagon and 2 sedans. 1 Golf with a vr6swap.
1 2G GS-T and 1 1G TSI. Then the odball with a honda, an 89 civic 4-door sedan with a turbo B-18. It's actually really clean and runs like a scalded pig.

Its cool to have a a bit of a mix. We keep each other current on what the other teams pushin and compare notes so to speak. We respect one another and are usually helping each other out anyway we can.

and one turbocharged f350 that runs 13 sec 1/4 with 4 tires on the back.

The main person I hang out with and work on cars with has a 99 Si with a t3/t4 built engine...he built it I sat and learned and helped a little, but we are getting it dyno tuned this saturday! very exited...it is about a car length or so slower than mine right now (its only base tuned @ 8psi running way rich)...there are no evo's in the town I live...well ne more (moved away)...

I'm surrounded by cars that are faster than mine... except the WRX and STi

 

I am the lone wolf with all of my friends. They all drive BMW's. I love having the only japanese car in my pack of friends especially considering i can walk on all of them.

They consist of a 2002 330ci
a 2000 M coupe
a 2000 M Roadster
a 1999 M3

Dont' get me wrong, i love BMWs. I figure i'll own one when i'm 30 until then, i want a fast car.
