was waxing my car the other day. about 30min after the engine had been shut off, i start hearing this gurgling/ticking noise coming from the intake side of my motor. it would happen for like 5-10 seconds, then stop.. then maybe 10 minutes later it would happen again for another 5-10 seconds, and stop.. did this a few times.

anyone have any clue what this is? i never heard of this sound before on any car i ever owned; especially since the engine was turned off and not even running... ??

its the coolant in the radiator contracting, perfectly normal, almost all cars do this,the ticking is the inner fins, and the gurgling is coolant moving through the fins. liquid still circulates around the radiator due to thermal displacement.

 

someone has sabotaged your evo and placed some kind of explosive device under the hood
