Hmm... I remember in the beginning mine used to not get cold enough too. I'm not sure if it was just Hotter back then or if it was because I took my car into service and they may have replaced the Coolant?? Sorry, that's all I got.

Your windows rolled all the way up?

My AC is very cold. No problems here. I only experienced a couple 100+ days, but it was a champ.

A/C Performance on the Evo should be awesome. With the engine RPMs always high, the A/C compressor should be pumping like crazy. There could be a lot of factors. Bad evaporator, bad compressor, bad A/C lines, not enough R-134a in the system.
Your out in Texas too, might be high humidity and too much condensate on the evaporator. Evaporator not pumping out enough cold air. Take it in, the dealer should be able to help you out.

haha, called the dealer and the lady at the front desk goes "El Paso Kia how may i help you?" i was like, isnt this mitsubishi? and she was like, oh yeah, sorry...anyways, im taking it in tomorrow morning. thanks.

still the question on if the noise getting louder with the a/c on is normal. they told me it was because of the clutch or something like the flywheel is light, i forgot.

That's your throw-out bearing making the rattle. I had it too, Still slightly actually. If you bring it in, they'll replace it under warranty and it should get quieter. Not sure if it ever Completely goes away, but it'll definitely get quieter.

Ask them to check your A/C too because you start sweating at stop lights.
