I did use 2 fender washers (seen on first pic) to space the bar down, but it's got plenty of space and the exhaust doesn't hit anywhere:

actually, those are my pics. Thanks for the post, I have to figure out how to do that some day.

I like the CF heat shield, I think it looks great. However it is not neccesary because my bumper stays clean as is, and does not heat up.

Why is the exhaust in the silver car in the upper right hand corner of the bumper outlet? The yellow evo has it right smack in the center. Do you have to adjust the exhaust to get it into the middle?

You gotta take your time hanging the system. It bolts up in less than 30 minutes but doing it right takes more time than that. My exhaust tip actually sat too low for my taste so I drilled another mounting hole on the mount tab that is welded to the magnaflow muffler in order to raise it up. Now it lines-up very well. You really need to have the car on a lift to get everything perfect.

Just put the Buscher Magnaflow full 3" exhaust on my EVO. This being my first mod, and I love it. Noticed good power increase, and the over all noise admitted from the exhaust is not very loud at all. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm sure with more modifacations the noise factor will increase drastically. But still pleased with the power delivery and noise factor.

Does anyone else have this exhaust and agree? I'm not sure my idea of loud is the same as everyone elses.

Also sticks out a tad in the back. Heard similar stories of this. Don't really mind it.
Thanks for the post. I'm glad you are happy with it. If you need anything else please dont hesitate to give us a call. I'll be glad to help!

It's in the center, just the picture is off. bad angle, sorry. Not sure how difficult it is, I had buschur(dan) install. Ask Jrod if there are any tricks.

The only real trick to getting the exhaust perfect is to take a little time to move it around. The rear section of the exhaust is slip fit so it is possible not to have it dead on the first time when installed. The best way to adjust it is to loosen the bolts for the clamp, and the ones hold the muffler and just align it accordingly. Thanks guys!

I have the full turbo back as well with the full stage 2 from Buschur. That is when you notice a lot of difference.

Yea I still have some alignment issues as the tip is off center to the left and my muffler is actually going too far in instead of sticking out. So I get a lot of soot on my bumper. Oh yea anyone looking to sell or trade their magnaflow muffler for a buschur one? The buschur one is just too loud for my tastes.

sMIThSHUBISHI23 - i have the Buschur's full turboback with the magnaflow muffler and it too sits a little bit out just like yours... actually my car looks exactly like yours since mine is silver as well. I did have to mess with the exhaust so that it was centered nicely. I have to say that the magnaflow sounds great... even with the test pipe. You really do have to get the full stage 2 to really feel the full effect of this exhaust though... I am awaiting my upper intercooler pipe and mini battery kit right now... can't wait to put 'em in.

Did you guys have any disassembly problems of the OE parts? The two bolts that hold the stock midpipe to the catalyst suck choad! I got the nut off on the passenger side but can't get any tools other than a combo wrench around the driver's side nut because of the driveshaft. Tried penetrating oil and everything short of a torch. Did you guys just use a closed end wrench with a breaker bar?

I got two cat-back exhausts from Bushur as they initially sent me the wrong one. I had both at the same time. The one I wanted (tip not rolled) did not line up no matter how much I played with it, so I installed the other one and it was perfect.

The only problem was that the clamp they provided leaked, so I took it to a muffler shop and welded the two pipes without the clamp. It is perfect now and is one piece all the way back from the cat.

I also painted the metal hanger piece at the rear using high heat matt black so you cannot see it from the rear.

I love the sound, deep without cabin resonance.
