ok i got an 05 evo n my friend got a 94 slow *** integra so now hes gunna by a 03 350Z because he thinks he can beat my car in it. Who do you guys think would win?
i obv say my evo but i just want more opinions.

 

Obviously, you are on a track or somekind of closed course. If not, IBTD

From a stop, the Evo wins.

From a roll, the Z wins.

Tell him NOT to buy an '03 Z though, tranny problems = not good.

Oh, the Z will hold it's own in the twisties as well, FYI

my friend had a 350z, i have a 03 evo , his would keep up but that was from a roll between 2-4 i would pull 4-5 cars on him, same mods intake

 

Well,

Stock vs stock the EVO will win almost every race no worries. However, if you are talking circuit track and the 350Z is well prepped (role cage suspension all around, racing tires etc etc) The 350Z could be a very well competitor and will give you a good race.

Power is not everything, driver is everything. In the end 350z is a respectful car at the track.

 

stock vs. stock? I've seen it go both ways; more times than not, it's been the Z on top though



REGARDLESS, Both are excellent cars and have more than enough power to beat 99% of the cars at the track.

 

for some reason, after beating Z's stock for stock... i lost respect for them....

^The 05 EVOs are stronger than the 03-04 in most cases. Still it is going to be a good race, I mean both cars weigh, dyno, and trap similiar, but from a dig, AWD if you know how to launch good (even a slower 1.9 60FT is more than enough to take a 350Z on street tires) owns the 350Z. Add a couple of bolt ons and it's not even close, only way he will be able to keep up is with a Twin Turbo or Supercharger Kit.

At trackdays my Evo has never been threatened by a 350Z. The Evo does everything just a little better: accelerate, stop, corner, etc. The Z is a nice car, just biased towards street use a little more than the Evo.

 

i beat a supercharged z this guy has one on longisland an arange when and we raced from second gear roll i put a car 0r 2 on him

dang this topic comes up alot... they are both good cars, the evo will beat it stock vs. stock, IF your a good driver... i own an 05 evo, my brother owns an 03 Z it is a very nice car....
